The technical literacy workshop is a free series of workshops where volunteers from various tech backgrounds teach people of all ages and skill levels the necessary skills to operate and develop today’s technologies.

Lecture / Guided Instruction (45–60 minutes)
Each session focuses on a specific technology topic, taught by a volunteer.
Topics could include:
Basic device navigation (smartphones, tablets, computers)
Email and communication tools
Internet safety & privacy
Productivity software (spreadsheets, word processing, calendars)
Creative apps (photo editing, design, coding basics)
Demonstrations include real-life examples to keep sessions practical and relatable.
Office Hours / Q&A (30–45 minutes)
Participants bring their devices or projects.
Volunteers provide individualized guidance, troubleshooting, and coaching.
Encourages problem-solving, peer learning, and immediate application of lecture concepts.
