The technical literacy workshop is a free series of workshops where volunteers from various tech backgrounds teach people of all ages and skill levels the necessary skills to operate and develop today’s technologies.

    Virtual orientation where students can meet volunteers, request topics, and ask questions regarding the class structure.

  • Smart phone 101

    Breaking down how to work and customize smart phones to the users liking. Topics covered: Accessibility settings, Messaging, App Store, Maps

  • Word processing

    Covering the basics of typing documents, formatting, file types and locations, and sending attachments. #BYOD (Bring your own device)

      • Creative apps (photo editing, design, coding basics)

    • Demonstrations include real-life examples to keep sessions practical and relatable.

    Office Hours / Q&A (30–45 minutes)

    • Participants bring their devices or projects.

    • Volunteers provide individualized guidance, troubleshooting, and coaching.

    • Encourages problem-solving, peer learning, and immediate application of lecture concepts.
